Fairhaven was the most beloved and memorable of<br>those six locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second of six children born to Mary Helen and Alvin L. Leisey, Jr.,<br>Randy and his sisters LaLoni and Mary Ellen graduated from Fairhaven High<br>School. His brother Ronald and sisters Kimberly and Kathryn graduated from<br>High School in New Jersey although their early education was in Fairhaven.<br>Miguel Novak, an exchange student from Argentina hosted by the Leiseys, also<br>graduated from Fairhaven High in 1966.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All the members of the Leisey family have wonderful memories of their<br>years living at 6 Green Street in Fairhaven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s a synopsis of Randy\u2019s years since graduation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bucknell University (athletic scholarship), Lewisburg, PA,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bachelor of Arts, Sociology 1970<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lancaster Theological Seminary, Lancaster, PA<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Master of Divinity 1973<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Theological School, Drew University, Madison, NJ<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Doctor of Ministry 1982<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ordained as a United Church of Christ Minister in Harrisburg, PA, 1973, Dr.<br>Leisey has served churches in Pennsylvania, Minnesota, New Jersey, Wyoming,<br>Montana, and he founded a church in Southern California which named him<br>Minister Emeritus upon retirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Randy is retired in Cody, Wyoming, and in retirement he serves as Spiritual<br>Counselor to the patients of Spirit Mountain Hospice of West Park Hospital. He<br>also serves as a guide for JustHope groups who travel to Nicaragua to participate<br>in partnership projects with Nicaraguans in rural communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Beverly Perkins, Randy\u2019s wife, is the Art Conservator and Division Director<br>at The Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Randy\u2019s three children, Chris, Jennifer and Tamara as well as six<br>grandchildren live in Gainesville, FL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of the awards Randy has received from various communities and<br>organizations over the years, he counts the Induction into the Fairhaven High<br>School Hall of Fame as the most esteemed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">THANK YOU FAIRHAVEN HIGH!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/fairhavenalumni.org\/hall-of-fame\/leisey-randy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/fairhavenalumni.org\/hall-of-fame\/leisey-randy<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Randall Abbott Leisey &#8211; Year of Graduation 1966 Born in 1948, Randy lived in 6 homes in four states in the northeast beforehe graduated from college.
